Start from the beginning: We dress the article then coat the cup in a wonderful trademarked coating which gives the piece a wonderful look, feel and fantastic durability. Our base-coated cups look fantastic with no artwork on them. Then, we intercede with color: The graphics aren’t “put on the cup.” We use a proprietary “ab-intra diffusion” process which acts precisely like a tattoo on human skin; the colorant saturates from the skin into the tissue (steel) underneath, forming an analog (dotless) image that’s just fantastic. And yes – it’s VERY permanent.
What’s the comparison between the different cup makers?

We don’t represent any of the tumbler companies – we do them all. All of the products we use are typical double wall, vacuum sealed, stainless steel tumblers that do not sweat and keep the temps very well. The biggest difference in most of them is your preference to brand. Internet will show you tons of comparisons. If you’re in search of the “best”, you will probably find infinite arguments & claims.

How do I give you the graphics or logos I want on my cup?

To ensure that we create quality products, it is preferred that all files are emailed to us in vector form. An example of this is an Adobe Illustrator (.ai) file. If your file is in .jpeg or any other form, please make sure that it is a high resolution file. You can see more information through our custom orders page.
Care Instructions & how to keep a CiC piece looking new.

Some makers may suggest that their tumblers are dishwasher safe. In ANY case where a vacuum seal (that they all have) is present, we highly recommend AGAINST the use of a dishwasher. If the vacuum is leaking, excessive heat from the sterilizing or drying cycle can cause excessive pressure build-up and may damage or explode the tumbler. Yes – we’ve seen both! We recommend hand washing with mild soap and water. Do not use solvents or glass cleaners on CiC articles (or stainless steel).

Typically, a wipe-down will keep our pieces looking fresh. In the case of excessive tough use, we recommend polishing your article with a lightly wet cloth and a bit of your favorite toothpaste. Gently polish your piece and wipe with a clean, soft cloth to remove the “polish.”
